Bushwalks on the Tasman Peninsula
There are 35 walks in and around the recently proclaimed Tasman National Park.
The Park comprises most of the eastern coastline of the Tasman and Forestier
Peninsulas as well as a substantial area in the southwest of the Tasman
Peninsula. Walks vary from a gentle half-hour family stroll to a full-on
6 day bushwalking expedition.
Shirley & Peter Storey´s
excellent walking guide, "Peninsula Tracks", describes
these bushwalks in great detail... map grid references, walk location
map, flora and fauna descriptions and superb photographs all make
it an essential part of the serious bushwalker´s kit. "The
highest sea cliffs in Australia, the largest tract of rainforest
on the East Coast of Tasmania, soaring sand dunes and wave-pounded
rock platforms, sea caves and seals, wildflowers and whales. These
are just some of the attractions of the Tasman and Forestier Peninsulas"...
and all in such a small area. Visit our Bushwalking pages for slideshows and fullscreen images of the following Tasman Peninsula Bush Walks.
